I’m Sam Wild — a photographer, freediver, spearfisher, and founder of Mahi Dive Floats. I’m someone who’s happiest when I’m out in the ocean. With a camera in one hand and a dive float in tow, I’ve spent the last few years chasing stories beneath the surface and along the wild coastlines of Aotearoa.

Everything I do is connected to the water. I’ve built Mahi Dive Floats because, as a diver, I needed gear that was as tough, practical, and dependable as the places I explore.

Drawing inspiration from the best in outdoor gear, I created floats that can withstand the harshest conditions, ensuring they perform whenever and wherever I dive.
